Step 1. Our MA LTC course contains the core curriculum of NRA Home Firearm Safety – Gun Owners’ Action League, Inc. LTC-033.

$175 ($125 deposit to register)

This class is Step 1 of a 2-Step training Program.  Our Firearms Safety classroom training (there can be up to 10 people per class) fulfills the Massachusetts firearms safety class requirement to apply for your Massachusetts license to carry (Mass LTC), or FID Card.  This 4-hour class covers a broad range of subject matter including firearms self-defense laws in Mass, suicide prevention, where you may and may not carry a firearm, lawful storage & transportation, license reciprocity in the US & neighboring states, are part of the core curriculum. Students learn about basic firearms safety, common accidents & myths, semi-automatic pistols, revolvers, single and double action mechanisms, ammunition components, firearm terminology & maintenance. You will learn about the various types of malfunctions and how to properly deal with them. The class discusses the licensing process in Massachusetts, license renewal and reasons for license denial.

Our classroom is located on the second-floor suite #213 of 379 Liberty Street, rear of the building. Look for the South Shore Gun Training sign the day of your class!

The fee for this Non-Live Fire LTC class is $175 per attendee, a $125 registration deposit is required to secure your booking. The Balance is due upon arrival at the class.
