Step 2. Live Fire Training $125 ($25 deposit to register)

This 2-hour live fire course meets the requirements set forth by Massachusetts for live fire training. The course fulfills the live fire training requirement for the municipalities in MA that require live fire and the MA State Live Fire Requirement.  You do not need to own a firearm or have prior shooting experience.  All firearms, ammunition and safety equipment will be provided.  You MUST take Step 1 first.

During this course, you will:

• Learn how to safely handle, load, unload and shoot firearms
• Be able to identify different firearms and their primary parts
• Understand the mechanics of how a firearm functions
• Learn and practice the basics of grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control
• Understand the different methods and options to carry and store your firearm safely

Upon completing Step 2, you will be issued your MA LTC Training certificate through the MA Gun Portal.

This class takes place at the Holbrook Sportsmen’s Club, located at 150 Quincy St in Holbrook, MA.
