Semi-Private MA LTC Gun Training Class

All Classes will be a semi-private.  Our MA LTC classes are conducted in our facility conveniently located in Rockland, MA.    Please note, starting May 1, 2021 all classes will be held in Holbrook, MA at 148 Centre Street.  If you attend our semi-private non-live fire safety class, you will qualify to attend a semi- private Live Fire Class at the Holbrook Sportsman’s Club (Different Holbrook Location) at an additional cost of $100.

At the conclusion of the basic firearms safety class you will receive your Massachusetts State Police Firearms Safety Training certificate for your License to Carry in MA. South Shore Gun Training is fully licensed and insured.  Massachusetts State Law and Most Police Departments do not require Live-Fire Training to apply for your MA LTC, but Some do.  Contact the licensing officer in the Police Department where you live to find out if your police department requires Live-Fire training.  Quincy, Weymouth, Rockland, Hingham and Sharon Require Live-Fire Training. Our separate Live fire training class includes all safety equipment, class material, targets, use of firearms and ammunition are provided for our live fire classes.

Our MA LTC non-live fire class runs approximately 3 1/2 hours and the fee is $125    A $50 deposit is required to secure your date.  To schedule a class, pick your class date & time from the calendar below. Private Classes are available with prior arrangements for groups of 6-12 at our facility in Rockland, MA.  Please contact us for information.
